24/08/2024: What a fabulous find! Our best meal in Ireland so far. Fantastic vibe, fabulous design, great food and friendly and hard working staff.

23/08/2024: We visited the Black Pig on a very busy Friday but the welcome was superb and we sat down at our table bang in time. Sharon Gav and the team are superb. The menu is a challenge to try and pick from so much delicious options and our choices were exquisite. A party of four beside us about our choices and had the same It is a very very special place

25/08/2024: Fantastic wine, ambience, service and food A group of 6 of us reserved a seat for dinner, the service from the offset was great- our drinks promptly delivered to us including a bottle of red and a bottle of white which where very nice, beer and co*cktails.. we were a happy bunch, we had starters and particularly the pate was exceptional and also a good portion, 4 of us had the pork chop with mash and green beans- honestly the best pork chop - by this point feeling pretty stuffed, I made my husband order dessert just so I could have a spoonful - I had 2 or maybe 3 :-) we all left very full and happy - thank you to the fabulous front of house, the kitchen team, you all play a valuable part and we had a fantastic meal x

11/08/2024: Pork chop was delicious. I had the chicken mozzarella which was fine, I felt the pasta was overcooked and the mozzarella sitting on top of the chicken needed something more. The food is excellent though, we met a couple later who raved about the beef and fish.Large group beside us which made the small space smaller and it was very loud.

24/07/2024: Great fish and chips just on the outskirts of Kisnale, made fresh in front of you with a short wait and great value. Just have to watch out for the seagulls.

19/07/2024: Got the sharing box. 10 pieces of fish, chips and comes with 2 sauces. Fresh fish, light tasty batter. Lovely thick chips . Great service. Will be coming here often

11/08/2024: Steak night, whoohoo!! Delicious, mash was so tasty as were the side of carrots and parsnips. Great atmosphere and staff were very attentive. Steaks were very good also.

18/08/2024: Went to Man Friday with some friends from Kenya. To our delight, our waiter recognised that, and practised his Swahili with my guests.Everyone remarked on how good the food was, every course. We all left stuffed, happy, and feeling the vibe.

11/08/2024: Favourite dinner spot in kinsale. We were blessed with great weather and a great outside table! Staff were extra accommodating, ensuring we had blankets and added a cute table lamp when it got dark. Food was exceptional, hake with risotto was devine and steak perfect! Excellent value for money as well considering we had 3 courses.

18/08/2024: A very nice addition to Kinsale! I really appreciate the variety and creativity in the drinks menu. We tried the Aren Latte and Lemon Chiffon, and both were delightful and unique. The sweetness was well balanced. I only wish I lived closer to Kinsale so I could visit more often.

10/08/2024: I tried the iced Aran latte based on the barista's recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed the coffee in this small yet charming modern spot. I'll definitely visit again to try something new!

26/08/2024: I have no idea where the recent reviews stem from.I live and work in Kinsale. I have no connection to the owners I state that as fact.But the meal I had tonight and for the past 12 months have been fantastic. The food is genuine and reasonably priced. The staff in both the bar but especially the restaurant are simply the best you will find in ireland. And they are the real deal too.I work and socialise with all of irelands wonderful mix of nationalities, but the staff at Spaniard are what visitors to kinsale may I respectfully suggest expect.Cork at its best, service with attention kindness and cork humour to boot.O and did I say how good the food is well the murphys here's the best Could not recommend higher.

19/08/2024: Super leuke plek met erg aardig personeel. Wij hadden de traditionele fish & chips en deze was zalig. Heerlijk vers en zeker niet vet. Ook de friet was niet vet of erg zout. Ook lekker de doperwtpuree die erbij wordt geserveerd. Gratis karaf water bij binnenkomst is ook altijd welkom. Zeker een aanrader als je in Kinsale bent

09/08/2024: Tasty, well presented food but very small and expensive portions so poor value (eg plate of broccoli sitting on romanesco sauce €18; courgette and buratta dish had 6 slices of courgette).The worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. A very polite request was met with a lot of drama and actual eye-rolling by owner instead of being seen as genuine customer feedback. So unprofessional. We wanted to leave but stayed as we had put in order and didn’t want to mimic earlier drama by owner! Ruined our meal as she had every opportunity to let it go and come back over and ask how was our meal, and so created a terribly uncomfortable atmosphere for us. Not what you want or need for your quick bite that added to €95!The owner’s comments below perfectly capture the attitude we encountered.

21/08/2024: My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Kitty O’Sé’s in Killarney. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us—even allowing us to change tables twice without fuss (I don’t like to sit beside toilets or kitchens!) The service was flawless; we never had to ask for a thing as everything was taken care of with such attentiveness. The food was divine, and as someone with celiac disease, I was delighted by how knowledgeable and considerate they were about gluten-free options. A special mention to our server, Angelica—she was the epitome of warmth and hospitality, truly the nicest person. Her genuine care and helpfulness made our visit all the more special. We’ll definitely be back!

11/08/2024: Been there twice now, and both times, the staff were lovely, the clientele were well mannered, the food is great, and the views are wonderful. Sitting outside, we didn't hear the live music but when going in to get more drinks, they sounded grand.They just started an al fresco menu, so we took our takeaway boxes and sat outside, enjoying the views and soaking up the atmosphere. Couldn't want for more.

09/08/2024: A nice little place lovely location... Very friendly staff member. The parking is a bit difficult but if you can find a space definitely worth a view

18/08/2024: 4 of us came here last week and had a very special evening. The staff were fantastic. Helen the host looked after us extremely well and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the wines they sell. We all had the tasting menu and the food was incredible. Extremely interesting and well thought out plates. A destination spot, worth travelling to .

01/08/2024: The tasting menu is delicious. I went here in 2019 and still remember it as a highlight of my trip to Ireland. The way that ingredients are combined is creative and fresh yet also familiar and each dish is extremely flavourful and perfectly compliments the plate garnishes and the other dishes on the menu.

09/08/2024: The service and food were amazing! We ate outside on a beautiful day. We had muscles with garlic bread and seafood Au Gratin. Absolutely delicious! You won't be disappointed!
