Another GP:Well today was the referral dayThis guy went to Aspen (DSO) and was referred to an OS that will see him in July. Went to another GP (PP?) and was referred to another OS and told June.Someone referred him to me (GP with skill)Tooth #15, 17, and 18 are treatment planned on the OS referral form.Patient is 36 years oldThat #17 looks tough5 carps301 and 23 forcep get #18 out in under a minute301 and 88L forcep get #15 out in under a minuteElevated a flap, used the 702L bur to troughUsed the Crane Pick to wedge it forward and up out of the socket.Took 5-6 minutesI looked at my watch when I picked up the 301 and I looked again as I was putting in the Benacel in #17 and it was 8 minutes. 3 gut sutures $1545 in production and in the office less than an hour. (1. Win - win2. How to be successful financially as a GP3. At other less skillful / willing GP’s expense4. Please don’t let yourself be the GO who refers cases like that because its not hard)
